Zuhayr ibn Harb and Ibn Abi 'Umar narrated to me—Ibn Abi 'Umar said: Sufyan narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from Salim, from his father (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The people of Madinah enter ihram from Dhu al-Hulayfah, the people of Sham enter ihram from al-Juhfah, and the people of Najd enter ihram from Qarn." Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: And it was mentioned to me—though I did not hear it directly—that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "And the people of Yemen enter ihram from Yalamlam."
