And it was narrated to me by Harmalah ibn Yahya: Ibn Wahb informed us, Yunus informed me, from Ibn Shihab, from Salim ibn Abd Allah ibn Umar ibn al-Khattab—may God be pleased with him—from his father, who said: I heard the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, say: "The miqat for the people of Madinah is Dhu al-Hulayfah, the miqat for the people of Sham is Mahya'ah, which is al-Juhfah, and the miqat for the people of Najd is Qarn." Abd Allah ibn Umar—may God be pleased with them both—said: And they claimed that the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him—though I did not hear this from him—said: "And the miqat for the people of Yemen is Yalamlam."
