Narrated to me Abu Kamil al-Jahdari: narrated to us Abu 'Awanah, from Qatadah, from Nasr ibn 'Asim, from Malik ibn al-Huwayrith, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), when he said the takbir, raised his hands until they were level with his ears; and when he bowed in ruku', he raised his hands until they were level with his ears; and when he raised his head from ruku' and said, "Allah hears the one who praises Him," he did the same.
