Zuhayr ibn Harb, Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna, and Ubaydullah ibn Sa'id narrated to us; they said: Yahya — meaning Ibn Sa'id — narrated to us, from Ubaydullah, who said: Nafi' informed me, from Ibn 'Umar, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, regarding [the verse] "The Day when mankind will stand before the Lord of the worlds" — he said: "One of them will stand in his sweat up to the middle of his ears." In the narration of Ibn al-Muthanna, he said: "The people will stand," and he did not mention "the Day."
