حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَعَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ، وَابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، - وَاللَّفْظُ لأَبِي بَكْرٍ - قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي حُمَيْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ، قَالَ اسْتَعْمَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم رَجُلاً مِنَ الأَسْدِ يُقَالُ لَهُ ابْنُ اللُّتْبِيَّةِ - قَالَ عَمْرٌو وَابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ عَلَى الصَّدَقَةِ - فَلَمَّا قَدِمَ قَالَ هَذَا لَكُمْ وَهَذَا لِي أُهْدِيَ لِي قَالَ فَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ فَحَمِدَ اللَّهَ وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ وَقَالَ " مَا بَالُ عَامِلٍ أَبْعَثُهُ فَيَقُولُ هَذَا لَكُمْ وَهَذَا أُهْدِيَ لِي . أَفَلاَ قَعَدَ فِي بَيْتِ أَبِيهِ أَوْ فِي بَيْتِ أُمِّهِ حَتَّى يَنْظُرَ أَيُهْدَى إِلَيْهِ أَمْ لاَ وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لاَ يَنَالُ أَحَدٌ مِنْكُمْ مِنْهَا شَيْئًا إِلاَّ جَاءَ بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يَحْمِلُهُ عَلَى عُنُقِهِ بَعِيرٌ لَهُ رُغَاءٌ أَوْ بَقَرَةٌ لَهَا خُوَارٌ أَوْ شَاةٌ تَيْعِرُ " . ثُمَّ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ حَتَّى رَأَيْنَا عُفْرَتَىْ إِبْطَيْهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ " اللَّهُمَّ هَلْ بَلَّغْتُ " . مَرَّتَيْنِ .
৪৬৩২-(২৬/১৮৩২) আবূ বাকর ইবনু আবূ শাইবাহ, আমর আন নাকিদ (রহঃ) ও ইবনু আবূ উমর (রহঃ) .... আবূ হুমায়দ সাইদী (রাদ্বিয়াল্লাহু আনহুমা) হতে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম আসাদ গোত্রের এক ব্যক্তিকে কর্মচারী নিযুক্ত করলেন- যাকে ইবনুল লুতবিয়্যাহ নামে অভিহিত করা হতো। রাবী আমর ও ইবনু আবূ উমার বলেন, যাকাত আদায়ের জন্য। যখন সে ফিরে এলো, তখন সে বললো, এটি আপনাদের (অর্থাৎ- বায়তুল মালের) এবং ওটি আমাকে উপহার হিসেবে দেয়া হয়েছে। রাবী বলেন, তখন রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম মিম্বারের উপরে দাঁড়ালেন এবং আল্লাহর প্রশংসা করার পর বললেন, সে কর্মচারীর কী হলো, যাকে আমি (আদায়কারীরূপে) প্রেরণ করলাম, আর সে (যেমন দিয়ে আসে তেমন) বলে! ওটা আপনাদের আর এটি আমাকে উপটৌকন দেয়া হয়েছে?
সে তার পিতার বা মাতার ঘরে বসে থেকে দেখে না কেন যে তাকে উপটৌকন দেয়া হয় কি-না? মুহাম্মাদের প্রাণ যে পবিত্র সত্তার হাতে তার কসম! যে কেউ এরূপ সম্পদের কিছুমাত্র কুক্ষিগত করবে, কিয়ামতের দিন তাই সে তার ঘাড়ে বহন করে নিয়ে আসবে- তার ঘাড়ের উপর চিৎকাররত উট হবে অথবা হাম্বা-হাম্বারত গাভী হবে অথবা চিৎকাররত বকরী হবে। তারপর তিনি দু'হাত উপরের দিকে উঠিয়ে ধরলেন, এমনকি তার বগলের শুভ্রতা আমাদের দৃষ্টিগোচর হলো। তিনি বললেন, "হে আল্লাহ! আমি কি তোমার নির্দেশ পৌছিয়ে দিয়েছি!" এ কথা তিনি দু'বার বললেন। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৪৫৮৬, ইসলামিক সেন্টার ৪৫৮৯)

Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah, 'Amr al-Naqid, and Ibn Abi 'Umar narrated to us — and the wording is that of Abu Bakr — they said: Sufyan ibn 'Uyaynah narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from 'Urwah, from Abu Humayd al-Sa'idi, who said:
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) appointed a man from the tribe of Asad, called Ibn al-Lutbiyyah, to collect the charity — 'Amr and Ibn Abi 'Umar said: over the charity. When he returned, he said: "This is for you, and this is for me — it was given to me as a gift." Abu Humayd said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) stood on the pulpit, praised Allah and extolled Him, then said: "What is the matter with an official whom I send out, and he says: 'This is for you, and this was given to me as a gift'? Why did he not sit in his father's house or his mother's house until he saw whether he would be given a gift or not? By Him in Whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, none of you will take anything from it except that he will come with it on the Day of Resurrection, carrying it on his neck — a camel with a grunt, or a cow with a moo, or a sheep with a bleat." Then he raised his hands until we saw the whiteness of his armpits, then he said: "O Allah, have I conveyed?" — twice.
