Zuhayr ibn Harb narrated to me, saying: Hashim ibn al-Qasim narrated to us, saying: 'Ikrimah ibn 'Ammar narrated to us, saying: Simak al-Hanafi Abu Zumayl narrated to me, saying: 'Abdullah ibn 'Abbas narrated to me, saying: 'Umar ibn al-Khattab narrated to me, saying: On the day of Khaybar, a group of the companions of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, came forward and said, "So-and-so is a martyr, so-and-so is a martyr," until they passed by a man and said, "So-and-so is a martyr." The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "No indeed. I saw him in the Fire because of a cloak or a garment he had misappropriated from the spoils." Then the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "O son of al-Khattab, go and call out among the people: 'None shall enter Paradise except the believers.'" He said: So I went out and called out: "Indeed, none shall enter Paradise except the believers."
