حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ عَنْ سُمَىٍّ، مَوْلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ السَّمَّانِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " لَوْ يَعْلَمُ النَّاسُ مَا فِي النِّدَاءِ وَالصَّفِّ الأَوَّلِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَجِدُوا إِلاَّ أَنْ يَسْتَهِمُوا عَلَيْهِ لاَسْتَهَمُوا وَلَوْ يَعْلَمُونَ مَا فِي التَّهْجِيرِ لاَسْتَبَقُوا إِلَيْهِ وَلَوْ يَعْلَمُونَ مَا فِي الْعَتَمَةِ وَالصُّبْحِ لأَتَوْهُمَا وَلَوْ حَبْوًا " .
৮৬৭-(১২৯/৪৩৭) ইয়াহইয়া ইবনু ইয়াহইয়া (রহঃ) ..... আবূ হুরাইরাহ (রাদ্বিয়াল্লাহু আনহুমা) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম বলেনঃ আযান দেয়া এবং প্রথম লাইনে দাঁড়ানোর মধ্যে যে কি মর্যাদা রয়েছে তা যদি মানুষ জানতে পারত, তবে তা পাবার জন্য তারা প্রয়োজনবোধে লটারী করত। দুপুরের সালাতের যে মর্যাদা রয়েছে তা যদি তারা জানতে পারত, তবে তারা এটা লাভ করার প্রতিযোগিতায় লেগে যেত। ইশা ও ফজরের সালাতের মধ্যে (তাদের জন্য) কি মর্যাদা রয়েছে তা যদি জানতে পারত তবে তারা হামাগুড়ি দিয়ে হলেও এসে সালাতে উপস্থিত হত। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশনঃ ৮৬৩, ইসলামিক সেন্টারঃ ৮৭৬)
Yahya ibn Yahya narrated to us, saying: I recited to Malik, from Sumayy, the freed slave of Abu Bakr, from Abu Salih al-Samman, from Abu Hurayrah, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "If the people knew what is in the call to prayer and the first row, and they could find no way to obtain it except by casting lots, they would cast lots for it. And if they knew what is in coming early to the prayer, they would race to it. And if they knew what is in the 'Isha' and Fajr prayers, they would come to them even if crawling."
