Narrated Qutaybah ibn Sa'id: Ya'qub — meaning Ibn 'Abd al-Rahman — narrated to us from Suhayl, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the reciter says, 'Not the path of those who have earned [Your] anger, nor of those who have gone astray,' and the one behind him says, 'Amin,' and his saying coincides with the saying of the people of heaven, his previous sins are forgiven."
