Narrated to us Zuhayr ibn Harb and Ishaq ibn Ibrahim, both from Jarir — and narrated to us Ishaq ibn Ibrahim and 'Ali ibn Khashram, both said: informed us 'Isa ibn Yunus — and narrated to us Abu Kurayb Muhammad ibn al-'Ala': narrated to us Abu Mu'awiyah — and narrated to us Abu Sa'id al-Ashajj: narrated to us Hafs, meaning Ibn Ghiyath — all of them from al-A'mash, from Zayd ibn Wahb and Abu Zibyan, from Jarir ibn 'Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever does not show mercy to the people, Allah, Mighty and Majestic, will not show mercy to him."
