And it was narrated to me by Harmalah ibn Yahya: Ibn Wahb informed us, Yunus informed me — and it was also narrated to us by Ishaq ibn Ibrahim and Abd ibn Humayd, both saying: Abd al-Razzaq informed us, Ma'mar informed us — both of them on the authority of al-Zuhri with this chain of transmission. And in their narration there is no mention of "being stripped of it." And in the narration of Yunus, there is an addition: "Let him spit to his left three times when he wakes from his sleep."
