And Abu al-Tahir and Harmalah narrated to me, both saying: Ibn Wahb informed us, Yunus informed me — and Abd ibn Humayd narrated to us, Abd al-Razzaq informed us, Ma'mar informed us — and Muhammad ibn Abd Allah ibn Numayr narrated to me, Rawh narrated to us — and Uqbah ibn Mukram and Ahmad ibn Uthman al-Nawfali narrated to us, both saying: Abu Asim narrated to us — all of them from Ibn Jurayj, Ziyad informed me — all of them from Ibn Shihab, with the chain of Malik, similar to his hadith. And in none of their hadiths is the phrase "hoping for its blessing," except in the hadith of Malik. And in the hadith of Yunus and Ziyad, [it is stated] that when the Prophet, peace be upon him, complained of illness, he would blow over himself with the Mu'awwidhat and wipe over himself with his hand.
