And it was narrated to us by ʿAbd ibn Ḥumayd, who said: we were informed by ʿAbd al-Razzāq, and ʿAbd al-Malik ibn ʿAmr, and ʿUmar ibn Saʿd, Abū Dāwūd al-Ḥafarī — all of them on the authority of Sufyān, on the authority of al-Aʿmash, with this chain of transmission, a similar report.
