And Abu al-Tahir and Harmalah narrated to me—Abu al-Tahir said: informed us, and Harmalah said: narrated to us—Abdullah ibn Wahb, who said: narrated to me Umar ibn Muhammad, who said: narrated to me al-Qasim ibn Ubaydullah ibn Abdullah ibn Umar, from Salim, from his father, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Let none of you eat with his left hand, nor drink with it, for indeed Satan eats with his left hand and drinks with it." He said: And Nafi' used to add to it: "And he does not take with it, nor give with it." And in the narration of Abu al-Tahir: "Let none of you eat with his left hand."
