Ubaydullah ibn Mu'adh al-Anbari narrated to us, my father narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from Yahya ibn Ubayd, Abu Umar al-Bahrani, who said: I heard Ibn Abbas say: A nabidh was prepared for the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) at the beginning of the night, and he would drink it when morning came, that day and the following night, and the next day and the following night, and the next day until the afternoon. If anything remained, he would give it to the servant to drink, or he would order it to be poured out.
