And it was narrated to us by Abu al-Rabi' and Qutaybah, both saying: Hammad narrated to us — and it was narrated to me by Zuhayr ibn Harb: Isma'il narrated to us, both of them from Ayyub — and it was narrated to us by Ibn Numayr: my father narrated to us: Malik ibn Mighwal narrated to us — and it was narrated to me by Harun ibn 'Abdullah: Muhammad ibn Bakr informed us: Ibn Jurayj informed us — and it was narrated to us by Harun ibn 'Abdullah: Shuja' ibn al-Walid narrated to us, saying: I heard Musa ibn 'Uqbah — and it was narrated to us by Harun ibn Sa'id al-Ayli: Ibn Wahb narrated to us: Usamah informed me — all of them from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar, from the Prophet, peace be upon him, concerning the dabb lizard, with the meaning of the hadith of al-Layth from Nafi', except that in the hadith of Ayyub: A dabb lizard was brought to the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, and he did not eat it, nor did he declare it forbidden. And in the hadith of Usamah, he said: A man stood up in the mosque while the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, was on the minbar.
