وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ بِشْرٍ، عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ، قَالَ لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ ( لاَ يَسْتَوِي الْقَاعِدُونَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ) كَلَّمَهُ ابْنُ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ فَنَزَلَتْ ( غَيْرُ أُولِي الضَّرَرِ )
৪৮০৬-(১৪২/...) আবূ কুরায়ব (রহঃ) ...... বারা (রাদ্বিয়াল্লাহু আনহুমা) হতে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, যখন لاَ يَسْتَوِي الْقَاعِدُونَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ আয়াত নাযিল হল তখন উম্মু মাকতুম (রাদ্বিয়াল্লাহু আনহুমা) সে ব্যাপারে রাসুল সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর সঙ্গে আলাপ করলেন। তখন নাযিল হলো غَيْرُ أُولِي الضَّرَرِ অর্থাৎ, যাদের কোন ওযর নেই। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৪৭৫৯, ইসলামিক সেন্টার ৪৭৬০)
And Abu Kurayb narrated to us, Ibn Bishr narrated to us, from Mis'ar, who said: Abu Ishaq narrated to me, from al-Bara', who said: When the verse "Not equal are those of the believers who sit [at home] and those who strive" was revealed, Ibn Umm Maktum spoke to him [about it], and then the verse was revealed with the exception: "other than those who have a disability."
