And Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us, saying: Abu Khalid al-Ahmar narrated to us, from Shu'bah, from Qatadah and Humayd, from Anas ibn Malik, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "There is no soul that dies, having goodness with Allah that would please it, that would wish to return to the world, nor that it had the world and everything in it—except the martyr. For he wishes to return and be killed in the world, because of what he sees of the virtue of martyrdom."
