It was narrated to me by Abu al-Tahir and Yunus ibn Abd al-A'la, both of whom said: It was narrated to us by Abdullah ibn Wahb, who said: I was informed by Amr ibn al-Harith, from Bakr ibn Sawadah, from Abu Salim al-Jayshani, from Zayd ibn Khalid al-Juhani, from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) that he said: "Whoever shelters a lost animal is himself astray, as long as he does not announce it."
