It was narrated to me by Abu al-Tahir and Harmalah ibn Yahya, and it was narrated to us by al-Walid ibn Shuja' — and the wording is that of al-Walid and Harmalah — they said: Ibn Wahb narrated to us, Yunus informed me, from Ibn Shihab, from 'Urwah and 'Amrah, from 'A'ishah, from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "The hand of the thief is not cut off except for a quarter of a dinar or more."
