وَحَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ، وَحَرْمَلَةُ، - وَاللَّفْظُ لِحَرْمَلَةَ - أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُسَيَّبِ، وَأَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لاَ تَمْنَعُوا فَضْلَ الْمَاءِ لِتَمْنَعُوا بِهِ الْكَلأَ " .
৩৮৯৯-(৩৭/...) আবূ তাহির ও হারমালাহ্ (রহঃ) ..... আবূ হুরাইরাহ (রাদ্বিয়াল্লাহু আনহুমা) হতে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ প্রয়োজনের চেয়ে বেশী পানি তোমরা বন্ধ করে রেখ না। কারণ এর দ্বারা তোমরা ঘাস উৎপাদন বন্ধ করে ফেলবে। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৩৮৬২, ইসলামিক সেন্টার ৩৮৬১)
And Abu al-Tahir and Harmalah narrated to me—and the wording is Harmalah's—[who said:] Ibn Wahb informed us, Yunus informed me, from Ibn Shihab, who said: Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab and Abu Salamah ibn 'Abd al-Rahman narrated to me that Abu Hurayrah said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Do not withhold the surplus of water in order to withhold thereby the pasture."
