Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna narrated to us, Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us — and Ibn Numayr narrated to us, my father narrated to us, both from 'Ubayd Allah — and Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us, and the wording is his: Muhammad ibn Bishr narrated to us, 'Ubayd Allah narrated to us, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Any palm trees whose trunks are purchased after they have been pollinated, their fruit belongs to the one who pollinated them, unless the buyer stipulates otherwise."
