حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرٌ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ سُلَيْمَانَ - عَنِ الْجَعْدِ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ تَزَوَّجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَدَخَلَ بِأَهْلِهِ - قَالَ - فَصَنَعَتْ أُمِّي أُمُّ سُلَيْمٍ حَيْسًا فَجَعَلَتْهُ فِي تَوْرٍ فَقَالَتْ يَا أَنَسُ اذْهَبْ بِهَذَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقُلْ بَعَثَتْ بِهَذَا إِلَيْكَ أُمِّي وَهْىَ تُقْرِئُكَ السَّلاَمَ وَتَقُولُ إِنَّ هَذَا لَكَ مِنَّا قَلِيلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - قَالَ - فَذَهَبْتُ بِهَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقُلْتُ إِنَّ أُمِّي تُقْرِئُكَ السَّلاَمَ وَتَقُولُ إِنَّ هَذَا لَكَ مِنَّا قَلِيلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ . فَقَالَ " ضَعْهُ - ثُمَّ قَالَ - اذْهَبْ فَادْعُ لِي فُلاَنًا وَفُلاَنًا وَفُلاَنًا وَمَنْ لَقِيتَ " . وَسَمَّى رِجَالاً - قَالَ - فَدَعَوْتُ مَنْ سَمَّى وَمَنْ لَقِيتُ . قَالَ قُلْتُ لأَنَسٍ عَدَدَ كَمْ كَانُوا قَالَ زُهَاءَ ثَلاَثِمِائَةٍ . وَقَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " يَا أَنَسُ هَاتِ التَّوْرَ " . قَالَ فَدَخَلُوا حَتَّى امْتَلأَتِ الصُّفَّةُ وَالْحُجْرَةُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لِيَتَحَلَّقْ عَشَرَةٌ عَشَرَةٌ وَلْيَأْكُلْ كُلُّ إِنْسَانٍ مِمَّا يَلِيهِ " . قَالَ فَأَكَلُوا حَتَّى شَبِعُوا - قَالَ - فَخَرَجَتْ طَائِفَةٌ وَدَخَلَتْ طَائِفَةٌ حَتَّى أَكَلُوا كُلُّهُمْ . فَقَالَ لِي " يَا أَنَسُ ارْفَعْ " . قَالَ فَرَفَعْتُ فَمَا أَدْرِي حِينَ وَضَعْتُ كَانَ أَكْثَرَ أَمْ حِينَ رَفَعْتُ - قَالَ - وَجَلَسَ طَوَائِفُ مِنْهُمْ يَتَحَدَّثُونَ فِي بَيْتِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم جَالِسٌ وَزَوْجَتُهُ مُوَلِّيَةٌ وَجْهَهَا إِلَى الْحَائِطِ فَثَقُلُوا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَخَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَسَلَّمَ عَلَى نِسَائِهِ ثُمَّ رَجَعَ فَلَمَّا رَأَوْا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَدْ رَجَعَ ظَنُّوا أَنَّهُمْ قَدْ ثَقُلُوا عَلَيْهِ - قَالَ - فَابْتَدَرُوا الْبَابَ فَخَرَجُوا كُلُّهُمْ وَجَاءَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم َتَّى أَرْخَى السِّتْرَ وَدَخَلَ وَأَنَا جَالِسٌ فِي الْحُجْرَةِ فَلَمْ يَلْبَثْ إِلاَّ يَسِيرًا حَتَّى خَرَجَ عَلَىَّ . وَأُنْزِلَتْ هَذِهِ الآيَةُ فَخَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَقَرَأَهُنَّ عَلَى النَّاسِ ( يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لاَ تَدْخُلُوا بُيُوتَ النَّبِيِّ إِلاَّ أَنْ يُؤْذَنَ لَكُمْ إِلَى طَعَامٍ غَيْرَ نَاظِرِينَ إِنَاهُ وَلَكِنْ إِذَا دُعِيتُمْ فَادْخُلُوا فَإِذَا طَعِمْتُمْ فَانْتَشِرُوا وَلاَ مُسْتَأْنِسِينَ لِحَدِيثٍ إِنَّ ذَلِكُمْ كَانَ يُؤْذِي النَّبِيَّ ) إِلَى آخِرِ الآيَةِ . قَالَ الْجَعْدُ قَالَ أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ أَنَا أَحْدَثُ النَّاسِ عَهْدًا بِهَذِهِ الآيَاتِ وَحُجِبْنَ نِسَاءُ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم .
৩৩৯৯-(৯৪/...) কুতায়বাহ্ ইবনু সাঈদ (রহঃ) ..... আনাস ইবনু মালিক (রাদ্বিয়াল্লাহু আনহুমা) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম (যায়নাব বিনতু জাহশকে) বিবাহ করেন এবং তার সহধর্মিণীর কাছে গেলেন। আনাস (রাদ্বিয়াল্লাহু আনহুমা) বলেন, আমার মা উন্মু সুলায়ম (রাদ্বিয়াল্লাহু আনহুমা) হায়স (হালুয়া) তৈরি করেছিলেন এবং তা একখানি ছোট পাত্রে রেখে আমাকে বললেন, হে আনাস! এটা রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর কাছে নিয়ে যাও এবং তাকে বল, এটা আমার মা আপনার খিদমাতে পাঠিয়েছেন এবং আপনাকে সালাম পৌছিয়েছেন। (আরও বলো যে) তিনি বলেছেন, হে আল্লাহর রসূল! এ সামান্য (হায়স) আপনার জন্য আমাদের পক্ষ থেকে (দেয়া হল)। আনাস (রাদ্বিয়াল্লাহু আনহুমা) বলেন, আমি হায়স নিয়ে রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর কাছে গেলাম এবং বললাম, হে আল্লাহর রসূল! আমার মা আপনাকে সালাম দিয়েছেন এবং বলেছেনঃ এ সামান্য (হায়স) আমাদের পক্ষ থেকে আপনাকে দেয়া হল। তিনি বললেন, এটা রাখ। অতঃপর বললেনঃ তুমি যাও, অমুক অমুক অমুককে দাওয়াত দাও এবং সেসব লোককেও যাদের সাথে তোমার সাক্ষাৎ হবে। এ বলে, তিনি লোকদের নাম বললেন।
আনাস (রাদ্বিয়াল্লাহু আনহুমা) বলেন, আমি তখন বর্ণিত লোকদের দাওয়াত দিলাম এবং তাদেরও যাদের সাথে আমার সাক্ষাৎ হল। সাবিত (রহঃ) বলেন, আমি আনাস (রাদ্বিয়াল্লাহু আনহুমা) কে জিজ্ঞেস করলাম, (আমন্ত্রিত লোকদের) সংখ্যা কত ছিল? তিনি বললেন, প্রায় তিনশত। রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম আমাকে বললেন, হে আনাস (হায়সের) পাত্রটি নিয়ে এসো। আনাস (রাদ্বিয়াল্লাহু আনহুমা) বলেন, দাওয়াতপ্রাপ্ত লোকজন এসে রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর ঘরে ও তার চতুস্পার্শ্বে ভীড় করলো। রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বললেন তোমরা দশ দশ জন করে একত্রিত হয়ে প্রত্যেকেই পাত্র থেকে নিজের সামনের স্থান থেকে খাদ্য গ্রহণ কর। আনাস (রাদ্বিয়াল্লাহু আনহুমা) বললেন, সকলেই খেয়ে তৃপ্ত হলেন। তিনি বলেন, একদল গেল আরেক দল প্রবেশ করল। এভাবে সকলে খাবার কাজ সেরে নিল।
অতঃপর তিনি আমাকে বললেন, হে আনাস (হায়সের পাত্র) উঠাও। তিনি বলেন, এরপর আমি পাত্রটি তুলে নিলাম। পাত্রটি রাখার সময় এতে খাদ্য বেশি ছিল কিনা সেটি উঠাবার সময় তা আমি বুঝতে পারিনি। আনাস (রাদ্বিয়াল্লাহু আনহুমা) বলেন, তাদের কিছু লোক রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর ঘরে বসে কথাবার্তা বলতে লাগল। আর রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম (সেখানে) বসা ছিলেন এবং তার সহধর্মিণী (যায়নাব) দেয়ালমুখী হয়ে পিছনে ফিরে রইলেম। তাদের উপস্থিতি তার কাছে কষ্টকর মনে হল। অতঃপর তিনি তার অন্যান্য বিবিদের কাছে বেরিয়ে গেলেন এবং কিছুক্ষণ পর ফিরে এলেন। তারা যখন দেখল যে, রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম ফিরে এসেছেন, তারা বুঝতে পারল যে, তাদের এ কাজ (আলাপচারিতা) তার (সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম-এর) জন্য কষ্টকর হয়েছে। আনাস (রাদ্বিয়াল্লাহু আনহুমা) বললেন, তখন তারা তাড়াতাড়ি দরজার দিকে এগিয়ে গেল এবং সবাই বেরিয়ে গেল। তখন রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এলেন এবং পর্দা টেনে দিলেন এবং পর্দার ভিতরে প্রবেশ করলেন। আমি ঘরে বসে রইলাম।
কিছুক্ষণের মধ্যে তিনি আমার কাছে ফিরে এলেন। তখন এ আয়াত নাযিল হয়। রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বের হয়ে এসে এ আয়াতগুলো লোকদের কাছে পাঠ করে শোনালেন- (অর্থ) "হে মুমিনগণ! তোমাদের অনুমতি দেয়া না হলে তোমরা আহার্য প্রস্তুতের জন্য অপেক্ষা না করে আহার গ্রহণের জন্য নবীর গৃহে প্রবেশ করবে না, তবে তোমাদের আহ্বান করলে তোমরা প্রবেশ করবে এবং আহারের পর তোমরা চলে যাবে এবং কথাবার্তায় মশগুল হয়ে পড়বে না। কারণ তোমাদের এ আচরণ নবীকে কষ্ট দেয়" ... আয়াতের শেষ পর্যন্ত (সূরা আল আহযাব ৩৩ঃ ৫৩)। রাবী জাদ (রহঃ) বলেন, আনাস (রাদ্বিয়াল্লাহু আনহুমা) বলেছেন, আমি লোকদের কাছে হাদীস বর্ণনা করছিলাম, এ আয়াতের প্রতি অনুগত হওয়ার জন্যে। আর নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর বিবিগণকে পর্দার আড়ালে নেয়া হল। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশন ৩৩৭২, ইসলামীক সেন্টার ৩৩৭১)

Qutaybah ibn Sa'id narrated to us: Ja'far—meaning Ibn Sulayman—narrated to us, from al-Ja'd Abu 'Uthman, from Anas ibn Malik, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, married and consummated the marriage with his wife. He said: My mother Umm Sulaym made a dish of _hays_ (a mixture of dates, clarified butter, and cottage cheese) and placed it in a wooden bowl. She said: O Anas, take this to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and say: My mother sent this to you, and she sends you greetings of peace, and says: This is but a little from us to you, O Messenger of Allah.
He said: So I took it to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and said: My mother sends you greetings of peace, and says: This is but a little from us to you, O Messenger of Allah. He said: "Put it down." Then he said: "Go and call for me so-and-so, and so-and-so, and so-and-so, and whoever you meet." And he named some men. He said: So I called those whom he had named and those whom I met.
He said: I said to Anas: How many were they? He said: Around three hundred. And the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said to me: "O Anas, bring the bowl." He said: Then they entered until the _suffah_ (the shaded platform) and the room were filled. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Let them sit in circles of ten, and let each person eat from what is before him." He said: So they ate until they were satisfied. He said: Then a group went out and a group entered, until all of them had eaten. Then he said to me: "O Anas, lift it up." He said: So I lifted it, and I could not tell whether it was more when I set it down or when I lifted it.
He said: And some groups of them sat conversing in the house of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, while the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was sitting and his wife had turned her face toward the wall. They became burdensome to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, so the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, went out and greeted his wives, then returned. When they saw that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, had returned, they realized that they had become burdensome to him. He said: So they rushed to the door and all went out. Then the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, came and lowered the curtain and entered, while I was sitting in the room. He did not remain long before he came out to me. And this verse was revealed, so the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, went out and recited them to the people: "O you who have believed, do not enter the houses of the Prophet except when you are permitted for a meal, without awaiting its readiness. But when you are invited, then enter, and when you have eaten, disperse, without seeking to remain for conversation. Indeed, that was troubling the Prophet" (Qur'an 33:53) to the end of the verse.
Al-Ja'd said: Anas ibn Malik said: I am the most recent of people in knowledge of these verses, and the wives of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, were veiled.
