It was narrated to me by Abu al-Tahir: Abdullah ibn Wahb informed us, from al-Layth and others, from Yazid ibn Abi Habib, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Shumasah, that he heard Uqbah ibn Amir say from the pulpit: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The believer is the brother of the believer, so it is not lawful for a believer to buy over the sale of his brother, nor to propose over the proposal of his brother, until he gives it up."
