And it was narrated to us by Sa'id ibn Mansur, and Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah, and 'Amr al-Naqid, and Zuhayr ibn Harb; they said: narrated to us Sufyan ibn 'Uyaynah. (Another chain:) And it was narrated to me by Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-Malik al-Umawi: narrated to us 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn al-Mukhtar from Suhayl. (Another chain:) And it was narrated to us by Ibn Numayr: narrated to us my father: narrated to us 'Ubaydullah. (Another chain:) And it was narrated to us by Abu Kurayb: narrated to us Waki'. (Another chain:) And it was narrated to me by Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna: narrated to us 'Abd al-Rahman, all of them from Sufyan, all of these from Sumayy, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, with the like of the hadith of Malik.
