Yahya ibn Ayyub, Qutaybah ibn Sa'id, and Ali ibn Hujr narrated to us; they said: Isma'il — meaning Ibn Ja'far — narrated to us, from al-'Ala' — and he is Ibn 'Abd al-Rahman — from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The Hour will not come until the sun rises from its place of setting. When it rises from its place of setting, all people will believe, all of them together. But on that day, belief will not benefit a soul that had not believed before, or had not earned good through its belief."

Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah, Ibn Numayr, and Abu Kurayb narrated to us; they said: Ibn Fudayl narrated to us. And Zuhayr ibn Harb narrated to me; Jarir narrated to us — both of them from 'Umarah ibn al-Qa'qa', from Abu Zur'ah, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. And Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us; Husayn ibn Ali narrated to us, from Za'idah, from Abdullah ibn Dhakwan, from Abd al-Rahman al-A'raj, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. And Muhammad ibn Rafi' narrated to us; Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us; Ma'mar narrated to us, from Hammam ibn Munabbih, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him — similar to the hadith of al-'Ala', from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
