Yahya ibn Yahya narrated to us, saying: I recited to Malik, from Abu al-Aswad Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn Nawfal, from Urwa, from Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, that she said: We went out with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, in the year of the Farewell Pilgrimage. Among us were those who entered into the state of ihram for Umrah, among us were those who entered into ihram for Hajj and Umrah together, and among us were those who entered into ihram for Hajj alone. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, entered into ihram for Hajj. As for those who had entered into ihram for Umrah, they came out of ihram. As for those who had entered into ihram for Hajj, or combined Hajj and Umrah, they did not come out of ihram until the Day of Sacrifice.
