And Muhammad ibn Hatim narrated to me, Ishaq ibn Mansur — and he is al-Saluli — narrated to me, Ibrahim ibn Yusuf — and he is the son of Ishaq ibn Abi Ishaq al-Sabi'i — narrated to us, from his father, from Abi Ishaq, that he heard Ibn al-Aswad mentioning, from his father, from 'A'ishah, may Allah be pleased with her, who said: When the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, intended to enter the state of ihram, he would apply perfume with the finest fragrance he could find, and afterward I would see the glistening of the oil on his head and beard.
