And ‘Abdullah ibn Maslamah ibn Qa‘nab narrated to us, Aflah ibn Humayd narrated to us, from al-Qasim ibn Muhammad, from ‘A’ishah — may Allah be pleased with her — the wife of the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, who said: I perfumed the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, with my own hand for his state of consecration (ihram) when he entered ihram, and for his state of release (ihlal) when he came out of ihram, before he circumambulated the House (tawaf).
