And Muhammad ibn Hatim and Abd ibn Humayd both narrated to me from Muhammad ibn Bakr—Abd said: Muhammad informed us—Ibn Jurayj informed us, Abu al-Zubayr informed him that he heard Jabir ibn Abd Allah, may Allah be pleased with them both, being asked about the miqat, and he said: I heard—I think he attributed it to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him—he said: "The miqat of the people of Madinah is Dhu al-Hulayfah, and the other route is al-Juhfah; the miqat of the people of Iraq is Dhat Irq; the miqat of the people of Najd is Qarn; and the miqat of the people of Yemen is Yalamlam."
