And narrated to me Abu al-Tahir: informed us Ibn Wahb: informed me Yunus ibn Yazid that Nafi' narrated to him from 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar — may Allah be pleased with them both — that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to observe i'tikaf during the last ten days of Ramadan. Nafi' said: And 'Abdullah — may Allah be pleased with him — showed me the place in the mosque where the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to observe i'tikaf.
