And Ibn Numayr narrated to us, Ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from ʿUmārah ibn al-Qaʿqāʿ, with this chain of transmission, and he said: among four men — Zayd al-Khayr, al-Aqraʿ ibn Ḥābis, ʿUyaynah ibn Ḥiṣn, and ʿAlqamah ibn ʿUlāthah, or ʿĀmir ibn al-Ṭufayl. And he said: prominent of forehead, like the narration of ʿAbd al-Wāḥid. And he said: indeed there will emerge from the loins of this one a people — and he did not mention: "If I reach them, I will surely kill them with the killing of Thamūd."
