وَحَدَّثَنَا هُرَيْمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى الأَسَدِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يَذْكُرُ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الآيَةُ . وَاقْتَصَّ الْحَدِيثَ . وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ سَعْدَ بْنَ مُعَاذٍ وَزَادَ فَكُنَّا نَرَاهُ يَمْشِي بَيْنَ أَظْهُرِنَا رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ .
২১৬-(.../...) হুরায়ম ইবনু 'আবদুল আ'লা আল আসাদী (রহঃ) ... আনাস (রাদ্বিয়াল্লাহু আনহুমা) বলেন, যখন এ আয়াত নাযিল হলো .....। এতেও সা'দ ইবনু মু'আয এর উল্লেখ নেই। তবে শেষে আছে, আমরা তাকে ভাবতাম, একজন জান্নাতী লোক আমাদের মাঝে বিচরণ করছেন। (ইসলামিক ফাউন্ডেশনঃ ২১৭, ইসলামিক সেন্টারঃ ২২৫)
And Huraym ibn Abd al-A'la al-Asadi narrated to us, al-Mu'tamir ibn Sulayman narrated to us, he said: I heard my father mentioning, on the authority of Thabit, on the authority of Anas, he said: When this verse was revealed... and he related the hadith in full, but he did not mention Sa'd ibn Mu'adh, and he added: And we used to see him walking among us as a man from the people of Paradise.
