حَدَّثَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ مَيْسَرَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي زَيْدُ بْنُ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ، بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ انْكَسَفَتِ الشَّمْسُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَصَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَالنَّاسُ مَعَهُ فَقَامَ قِيَامًا طَوِيلاً قَدْرَ نَحْوِ سُورَةِ الْبَقَرَةِ ثُمَّ رَكَعَ رُكُوعًا طَوِيلاً ثُمَّ رَفَعَ فَقَامَ قِيَامًا طَوِيلاً وَهُوَ دُونَ الْقِيَامِ الأَوَّلِ ثُمَّ رَكَعَ رُكُوعًا طَوِيلاً وَهُوَ دُونَ الرُّكُوعِ الأَوَّلِ ثُمَّ سَجَدَ ثُمَّ قَامَ قِيَامًا طَوِيلاً وَهُوَ دُونَ الْقِيَامِ الأَوَّلِ ثُمَّ رَكَعَ رُكُوعًا طَوِيلاً وَهُوَ دُونَ الرُّكُوعِ الأَوَّلِ ثُمَّ رَفَعَ فَقَامَ قِيَامًا طَوِيلاً وَهُوَ دُونَ الْقِيَامِ الأَوَّلِ ثُمَّ رَكَعَ رُكُوعًا طَوِيلاً وَهُوَ دُونَ الرُّكُوعِ الأَوَّلِ ثُمَّ سَجَدَ ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ وَقَدِ انْجَلَتِ الشَّمْسُ فَقَالَ " إِنَّ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ آيَتَانِ مِنْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ لاَ يَنْكَسِفَانِ لِمَوْتِ أَحَدٍ وَلاَ لِحَيَاتِهِ فَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمْ ذَلِكَ فَاذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ " . قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ رَأَيْنَاكَ تَنَاوَلْتَ شَيْئًا فِي مَقَامِكَ هَذَا ثُمَّ رَأَيْنَاكَ كَفَفْتَ . فَقَالَ " إِنِّي رَأَيْتُ الْجَنَّةَ فَتَنَاوَلْتُ مِنْهَا عُنْقُودًا وَلَوْ أَخَذْتُهُ لأَكَلْتُمْ مِنْهُ مَا بَقِيَتِ الدُّنْيَا وَرَأَيْتُ النَّارَ فَلَمْ أَرَ كَالْيَوْمِ مَنْظَرًا قَطُّ وَرَأَيْتُ أَكْثَرَ أَهْلِهَا النِّسَاءَ " . قَالُوا بِمَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ " بِكُفْرِهِنَّ " . قِيلَ أَيَكْفُرْنَ بِاللَّهِ قَالَ " بِكُفْرِ الْعَشِيرِ وَبِكُفْرِ الإِحْسَانِ لَوْ أَحْسَنْتَ إِلَى إِحْدَاهُنَّ الدَّهْرَ ثُمَّ رَأَتْ مِنْكَ شَيْئًا قَالَتْ مَا رَأَيْتُ مِنْكَ خَيْرًا قَطُّ " .
১৯৯৪-(১৭/৯০৭) সুওয়াইদ ইবনু সাঈদ (রহঃ) ..... ইবনু আব্বাস (রাদ্বিয়াল্লাহু আনহুমা) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম এর সময় একবার সূর্যগ্রহণ লেগেছিল। তখন রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম নিজের সাথে লোকদের নিয়ে সালাত আদায় করলেন। সালাত শুরু করে তিনি লম্বা কিয়াম করলেন প্রায় সূরাহ আল বাক্কারাহ পড়ার সমপরিমাণ সময় অতঃপর রুকূ করলেন লম্বা রুকূ'। অতঃপর (রুকূ' থেকে) মাথা উঠালেন। আবার লম্বা কিয়াম করলেন যা প্রথম কিয়াম অপেক্ষা কিছুটা ছোট। অতঃপর লম্বা রুকু করলেন যা প্রথম রুকূ' অপেক্ষা কিছু কম। অতঃপর সিজদা করলেন। সিজদা থেকে উঠে আবার লম্বা কিয়াম করলেন যা প্রথম কিয়াম অপেক্ষা কম। আবার লম্বা রুকূ' করলেন যা প্রথম রুকূর চেয়ে কিছু কম। অতঃপর সিজদা করলেন সিজদা থেকে উঠে আবার লম্বা কিয়াম করলেন যা প্রথম কিয়াম অপেক্ষা কিছু কম। তারপর মাথা উঠিয়ে দীর্ঘ সময় কিয়াম করলেন যা প্রথম কিয়াম অপেক্ষা কম। অতঃপর আবার দীর্ঘ রুকূ' করলেন যা প্রথম রুকূ' অপেক্ষা সংক্ষিপ্ত। অতঃপর সিজদা করে সালাত সমাপ্ত করলেন। এতক্ষণে সূর্য স্পষ্ট হয়ে গেল।
এরপর তিনি (সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম) বললেন, চন্দ্র ও সূর্য আল্লাহর দু'টি নিদর্শন। এগুলো কারো জন্ম বা মৃত্যুর কারণে গ্রাসপ্রাপ্ত হয় না। অতএব তোমরা যখন এরূপ কিছু দেখ, তখন আল্লাহকে স্মরণ কর। সার্থীগণ বললেন, হে আল্লাহর রসূল! আমরা আপনাকে দেখলাম, আপনি এ স্থানে দাঁড়িয়ে হাত বাড়িয়ে নিতে যাচ্ছেন। আবার একটু পর দেখলাম হাত ফিরিয়ে নিলেন? রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বললেন, আমি জান্নাত দেখতে পেলাম। অতএব জান্নাত থেকে ফলের একটি ছড়া নিতে যাচ্ছিলাম। যদি তা নিয়ে নিতাম তাহলে তোমরা তা পৃথিবী কিয়াম থাকা পর্যন্ত খেতে পারতে।
আমি জাহান্নামও দেখতে পেলাম এবং আজকের ন্যায় এমন ভয়াবহ দৃশ্য আর কখনও দেখিনি। আমি জাহান্নামের অধিবাসীদের মধ্যে বেশীর ভাগ দেখলাম মহিলা। সাথীরা জিজ্ঞেস করলেন, কি কারণ হে আল্লাহ রসূল! রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বললেন, তাদের অকৃতজ্ঞতার কারণে। তিনি বলেন, তারা স্বামীর প্রতি অকৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করে থাকে এবং অনুগ্রহকে অস্বীকার করে। তুমি যদি তাদের কারো সারাজীবনও উপকার কর, অতঃপর যদি কখনও তোমার থেকে কোন ক্রটি দেখে তখন বলে ফেলে, আমি তোমার কাছ থেকে কখনও কোন কল্যাণ দেখতে পাইনি। (ইসলামী ফাউন্ডেশন ১৯৭৮, ইসলামীক সেন্টার ১৯৮৫)
এরপর তিনি (সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম) বললেন, চন্দ্র ও সূর্য আল্লাহর দু'টি নিদর্শন। এগুলো কারো জন্ম বা মৃত্যুর কারণে গ্রাসপ্রাপ্ত হয় না। অতএব তোমরা যখন এরূপ কিছু দেখ, তখন আল্লাহকে স্মরণ কর। সার্থীগণ বললেন, হে আল্লাহর রসূল! আমরা আপনাকে দেখলাম, আপনি এ স্থানে দাঁড়িয়ে হাত বাড়িয়ে নিতে যাচ্ছেন। আবার একটু পর দেখলাম হাত ফিরিয়ে নিলেন? রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বললেন, আমি জান্নাত দেখতে পেলাম। অতএব জান্নাত থেকে ফলের একটি ছড়া নিতে যাচ্ছিলাম। যদি তা নিয়ে নিতাম তাহলে তোমরা তা পৃথিবী কিয়াম থাকা পর্যন্ত খেতে পারতে।

Suwayd ibn Sa‘īd narrated to us: Ḥafṣ ibn Maysarah narrated to us: Zayd ibn Aslam narrated to me, from ‘Aṭā’ ibn Yasār, from Ibn ‘Abbās, who said:
The sun eclipsed during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed and the people prayed with him. He stood for a long standing, about the length of Sūrat al-Baqarah, then he bowed a long bowing. Then he raised his head and stood for a long standing, though shorter than the first standing. Then he bowed a long bowing, though shorter than the first bowing. Then he prostrated. Then he stood for a long standing, though shorter than the first standing. Then he bowed a long bowing, though shorter than the first bowing. Then he raised his head and stood for a long standing, though shorter than the first standing. Then he bowed a long bowing, though shorter than the first bowing. Then he prostrated. Then he finished, and the sun had already cleared.
He said: "Indeed, the sun and the moon are two signs among the signs of Allah. They do not eclipse due to the death of anyone, nor due to the life of anyone. So when you see that, remember Allah."
They said: "O Messenger of Allah, we saw you reach out for something in this place of yours, then we saw you draw back." He said: "Indeed, I saw Paradise and reached out for a cluster of fruit from it, and had I taken it, you would have eaten from it for as long as the world remains. And I saw the Fire, and I have never seen a sight worse than today. And I saw that most of its inhabitants are women."
They said: "For what reason, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "For their ingratitude." It was said: "Do they disbelieve in Allah?" He said: "For their ingratitude to their husbands, and for their ingratitude for kindness. If you were to treat one of them kindly for an entire lifetime, then she saw something from you, she would say: 'I have never seen any good from you at all.'"
