Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna narrated to us, Mu'adh ibn Hisham narrated to us, my father narrated to me, on the authority of Yahya ibn Abi Kathir, who said: Abu Salamah ibn 'Abd al-Rahman narrated to us that he heard Abu Hurayrah say: "By Allah, I will surely bring you close to the prayer of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him." So Abu Hurayrah would recite the qunut in the noon prayer, the last evening prayer, and the dawn prayer, supplicating for the believers and cursing the disbelievers.
