وَحَدَّثَنِي سَلَمَةُ بْنُ شَبِيبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَعْيَنَ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سِمَاكُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ كَانَ بِلاَلٌ يُؤَذِّنُ إِذَا دَحَضَتْ فَلاَ يُقِيمُ حَتَّى يَخْرُجَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَإِذَا خَرَجَ أَقَامَ الصَّلاَةَ حِينَ يَرَاهُ .
১২৫৭-(১৬০/৬০৬) সালামাহ ইবনু শাবীব (রহঃ) ..... জাবির ইবনু সামুরাহ (রাদ্বিয়াল্লাহু আনহুমা) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, সূর্য ঢলে পড়লেই বিলাল আযান দিতেন। কিন্তু রসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বের হয়ে না আসা পর্যন্ত এবং তাকে না দেখা পর্যন্ত ইকামাত দিতেন না। বের হয়ে আসার পর তিনি তাকে দেখতেন তখনই কেবল ইকামাত দিতেন*। (ইসলামী ফাউন্ডেশন, ১২৪৫, ইসলামীক সেন্টার ১২৫৮)
And Salamah ibn Shabib narrated to me, al-Hasan ibn A'yan narrated to us, Zuhayr narrated to us, Simak ibn Harb narrated to us, on the authority of Jabir ibn Samurah, who said: Bilal used to give the call to prayer (adhan) when the sun declined, and he would not give the iqamah until the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, came out. When he came out, he would give the iqamah for the prayer upon seeing him.
