And Ishaq ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, informing us Abd al-Wahhab al-Thaqafi, who narrated from Khalid—namely al-Hadhdha'—from Abu Qilabah, from Abu al-Muhallab, from 'Imran ibn al-Husayn, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, gave the greeting of peace after three rak'ahs of the afternoon prayer, then he stood up and entered the chamber. Then a man with outstretched arms stood up and said, "Has the prayer been shortened, O Messenger of Allah?" So he came out angry and prayed the rak'ah that he had omitted, then gave the greeting of peace, then prostrated the two prostrations of forgetfulness, then gave the greeting of peace.
